The Sunflower Festival is downtown Colby Kansas on Franklin Ave. If an event is somewhere specific, it will be listed on the Registration of the event and on the Festival map.
No, the event its self is free. You will need to pay and register to particiapte in certain events, but you are welcome to come down and cheer on the participants and walk around downtown and Fike Park for free. Kids events and the street dance are always free.
Register at the start time of the event for the first 30 minutes the day of the event. The only registration that is online this year is the Co-ed Sand Volleyball Tournament and you will register at the Colby Rec Department website. Booths on the Bricks must sign up with the form provided on this site prior to the event.
Some events will have a limited amount of tickets/registrations sold due to space and time. First come to register will be the accepted registrations if there is a cap limit. Co-ed Sand Volleyball has a cap of 8 teams and registration is online at the Colby Rec Department webiste.
You will not be refunded the money. You can give your ticket/registration to someone else if they have your printed confirmation that you received by email. You can also email the Sunflower Festival Committee at sunflowerfestivalcolbyks@gmail.com and let us know that someone will be taking your spot in an event or that you will not be attending.
